About Me

Experience assisting companies implement disruptive engagement marketing strategies to evolve community, collaboration and corporate communications. Provide strategic and executive leadership to transform traditional marketing programs into modern social engagement and improved customer experience. Currently, entertaining speaking, advisory or consulting opportunities as time allows.

My recent experience as the Director of Community Strategy has been an amazing journey. I am an early adopter of innovative digital marketing, introduced the concept of the social marketing journey to several companies, educating executives on the value of advocacy engagement to drive innovation, improve product quality, shorten sales cycles and ultimately increase revenue. My passion for this next generation of the disruptive marketing changed how these companies thought about transparent collaboration as well as the need to fund social community initiatives to build an army of brand advocates.

Prior to EMC, I was Director of Marketing for mindShift Technologies, the leader in cloud hosting solutions, and helped redefine the marketing techniques and strategy of the organization. During the short period the marketing team changed it’s messaging, simplified the website structure, improved calls to action, eliminated ineffective marketing spend and optimized the SEO strategy to broaden product awareness.

Collaborative leadership ability and strong expertise building high performing teams that excel at execution.Accomplished writer, blogger and author for several publications on various marketing, social media and technical subjects such as industry trends, social and digital marketing strategies. Publications include CIO.com, Enterprise Storage Journal, TechNewsWorld, Sys-Con, eWeek and Peer to Peer Magazine.
